JACKSON POLLOCK ~ THE UNCONSCIOUS
I’m very representational some of the time, and a little all of the time. But when you’re painting out of your unconscious, figures are bound to emerge.

Hi my friend! I want to say that this post is awesome, nice written and include approximately all significant infos. I would like to see more posts like this .
Just wanted to let you and your art friends know, Monique, that the great philosopher (Chicago Hegelian and general genius , also into lit crit, Henry James and Modern Moral Life, CUP 2000) has a chapter on Pollack in his CUP 2005 collection “ON the Kantian Aftermath.” It is a philosophical account of his art and very compelling even though of course I would say am ignorant about art and art history. I have a friend in NYC who collects maritime art and also modern (has some Jasper Johns, Richard Bozeman, Helen Frankenwaller sorry i may be spelling the names all wrong), and he likes Pollack as well…

Quando fui jovem pintei todas as minhas paredes no meu quarto no estilo de Pescada polaca. A casa ainda está estando. Talvez devo voltar lá e ver se as minhas pinturas estão ainda lá.
