    Regarding ” The Misty Outline of a Human Form” By Bertrand-Jean Redon (Best Known as Odilon Redon) this work belongs to the Artist’s period Where he was working almost exclusively in charcoal and litography. He called his visionary work, conceived in shades of black, his “Noirs”. This period was after Odilon Redon came back from the Franco-Prussian war, where he was serving.Odilon Redon is considered as symbolist painter, Printmaker, draughtsman and pastellist.
